10 October 2011: EAD encourages consultants to use the on-line payment system when they register online.
Please be informed that EAD has stopped permitting environmental labs in Abu Dhabi.
The Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority (ESMA) is now the authority to accredit labs in the UAE. In the future, environmental analyses submitted to EAD in environmental studies should be performed by ESMA approved labs.
The list of labs is available on the ESMA website at:

Note: that there is a grace period for labs to be approved by ESMA.
Consultants are welcome to utilize quality environmental labs previously permitted by EAD until the grace period ends.
