Oct 2011: Please be informed that EAD has stopped permitting environmental labs in Abu Dhabi. The Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority (ESMA) is now the authority to accredit labs in the UAE. In the future, environmental analyses submitted to EAD in environmental studies should be performed by ESMA approved labs.

 

The list of labs is available on the ESMA website athttp://www.esma.ae/en-US/ourservices/enas/Pages/Accrdtcustomers.aspx. Note that there is a grace period for labs to be approved by ESMA.

 

 Consultants are welcome to utilize quality environmental labs previously permitted by EAD until the grace period ends.
